Morel miniforay, Salt
Fork State Park. April 23, 2005. Sharon
Greenberg, Dick Doyle and new members Phil Ciamacca and Darryl Kuczer trudged
through the cold, pouring rain along the orange horse trail near Hosak's
Cave to find two very small "grays" or Morchella
esculenta. Phil and Darryl had found OMS on this web site,
drove down from Cleveland and were waiting in the parking lot when Sharon
arrived around 9 AM! How's that for faith? Dick Doyle, meanwhile,
got lost in the park trying to find the office parking lot and showed up
around 9:20! That's why he doesn't volunteer to lead these things!
